VKontakte has added the ability to buy products from the Chinese online store AliExpress. About Hi-Tech Mail.ru the press service of the social network reported.

The service is developed on the VK Mini Apps platform. Therefore, the store is available directly from the VK program for iOS and Android. You don't need to go to a separate app to make purchases.

According to Irina Denezhkina, head of Vkontakte e-Commerce, the service will become "one of the basic elements for a number of products in the direction of social Commerce". Within the framework of cooperation, the companies intend to develop a full-fledged ecosystem.

Subsequently, the social network will introduce a new content format, based on which the monetization program for authors will work. Users are also offered to share their shopping experience in AliExpress among themselves to simplify the search for different products.

In June, Alibaba Group (owned by AliExpress), MegaFon, Mail.ru Group and RDIF announced the signing of binding documents on the creation of a joint venture. The parties plan to launch the largest player in the Russian e-Commerce market, including through integration with social networks Mail.ru Group
